QuickSCRIP can integrate with CoverMyMeds, allowing you to manually or automatically send PA (prior-authorization) requests to doctors as insurances require them.

Getting Setup with CoverMyMeds

We at Cost Effective Computers, are able to get you set up with CoverMyMeds as soon as you decide you want this feature active. To get setup, simply contact us at (866) 259-6091, and let us know what your preferred email address.

If you already have an account with CoverMyMeds, please let us know, and let us know what email address you have attached to it.

Sending/Editing PA Requests

Once CoverMyMeds integration is enabled in QuickSCRIP, you will notice new menu options appear when you receive an insurance rejection that requires a PA. By Default, CoverMyMeds will automatically create a PA request for every insurance rejection PA Required (this feature can be disabled upon request).

  • View - takes you to the CoverMyMeds website to see the PA generated.
  • Cancel PA - sends a command to CoverMyMeds to cancel the automatically generated PA.
  • Start PA - allows you to create a PA if one isn't generated automatically (certain insurance rejection)
  • Fix PC - if a PA has already been created, this option can appear, which allows you to make corrections to it.
